Development of Backup and Architecture Strategy

Compublue was asked to review and devise a next generation backup strategy and architecture to support the numerous servers under the management of the City of Glendale's Information Services Department. This effort included the following activities:

1. Audit and evaluation of City of Glendale's LAN and WAN architecture
2. Audit and evaluation of Databases and Applications' capacity requirements
3. Audit and evaluation of current communication backbone, and bandwidth
4. Recommendations on City of Glendale's LAN and WAN architecture
5. Recommendations on network and communications architecture
6. Development of backup strategy, including:
1. Backup architecture
2. Backup Hardware
3. Backup Software
7. Knowledge transfer to the City of Glendale's Information Services Department management and technical staff
